Planning Engineer - Part-Time

About the Role

The Planning Engineer will develop, maintain, and monitor integrated engineering schedules to support successful project execution. Working closely with engineering contractors and project management, you will ensure engineering deliverables remain aligned with construction and fabrication milestones.

The role is based in Jiangsu, China, with regular travel to India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Monitor engineering progress and identify schedule risks.
• Prepare project progress reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate schedule updates with engineering contractors.
• Support recovery planning for schedule delays.
• Perform critical path and schedule impact analysis.
• Provide planning support throughout engineering execution.

About You

You are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and experience managing project schedules within EPC or offshore environments. You understand how engineering progress directly impacts project execution and construction activities.

Summary of Key Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
• Experience as a Planning Engineer on EPC, offshore, marine, or FPSO projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong schedule analysis and reporting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent English communication.
• Based in Jiangsu, China, with regular travel to India.
• Contract duration: 2 to 2.5 years.
