Product Security Testing (PST) Trainee - Part-Time

This position reports to the Engineering Manager, Product Security & Devsecops and will be trained to:

• Build end-to-end Product Security Testing capability with strong hands-on emphasis

• Enable trainee to independently execute vulnerability assessment and penetration testing

• Embed trainee in real penetration testing engagements early in the program

• Produce audit-ready and engineering-consumable reports

Learning Outcomes:

Execute vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities on firmware and software products

• Use security testing tools to perform scanning, validation, and testing of real systems

• Reproduce and validate security issues and clearly document findings

• Support engineers in understanding vulnerabilities

• Set up and maintain testing labs and environments for security testing activities

• Contribute to automation, scripts, and testing improvements to improve efficiency

• Document and present findings, reports, and learning outcomes

Technical Skills and Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment, or penetration testing concepts

• Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Curious mindset with interest in security testing and exploring system weaknesses

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams

• Hands-on working in lab environments
