Production Planner/Material Planner (6-Month Contract)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Planner/Material Planner (6-Month Contract or Perm role) to support production scheduling, inventory management, and demand planning activities in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring timely product availability, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production of finished goods and sub-assemblies based on customer demand and forecast.

• Manage inventory levels and monitor stock availability across distribution centers.

• Coordinate with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

• Review demand fluctuations and adjust production plans accordingly.

• Monitor backorders, inventory performance, and planning KPIs.

• Maintain and update planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems.

• Prepare inventory and planning reports for management review.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and daily operational activities.

• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of production planning, scheduling, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP.

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
