Protect Technical Analyst - Part-Time

Introduction to the Role

We are hiring Technical Analysts to join a global operations team focused on keeping large-scale digital platforms safe.

In this role, you’ll work with data, AI-powered tools, and detection systems to identify harmful content, improve automated processes, and support time‑sensitive investigations. Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain content detection pipelines to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
• Use SQL and data tools to analyze trends, track performance, and generate insights
• Configure and optimize rule-based systems to proactively detect harmful content
• Review and validate AI-generated results to improve detection quality
• Conduct investigations by linking related accounts, content, and behaviors
• Prepare reports and dashboards for operational and business reviews
• Identify system issues and escalate where necessary
• Collaborate with internal teams on high-priority and time-sensitive cases

Requirements

• 1–3 years’ experience in data analytics, technical operations, or similar roles
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
• Basic familiarity with Python or scripting concepts
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in trust & safety, fraud detection, cybersecurity, or investigations
• Exposure to data visualization or BI tools
• Experience working with AI/ML tools or automated systems
