Rail Maintenance Engineer #HJN - Part-Time

Duties:

• Troubleshooting and maintaining key onboard systems including traction and propulsion, braking and safety systems, and mechanical subsystems such as bogies, couplers, suspension, and current collection systems, as well as interior/exterior components.
• You will be responsible for ensuring fleet reliability through preventive maintenance planning, overhaul execution, and strict adherence to technical specifications, ISO standards, and rail safety regulations. The role also involves conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to improve reliability metrics such as MTBF.
• In addition, the engineer will manage material readiness for critical spares, support maintenance execution within tight engineering windows, and lead rapid response during in-service vehicle failures to minimize operational disruption.
• The role requires close coordination with OEM engineering teams, project stakeholders, workshop technicians, and external parties such as regulators, auditors, and component vendors to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.

Working hours:
12 hour rotating shift from 8 to 8
