Resident Technical Officer - Part-Time

About the Company

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy with an established presence in Singapore, delivering professional supervision and engineering consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of upcoming developments, they are seeking experienced Resident Engineers (REs) and Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) to support project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily site supervision and inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship, construction quality, and material usage.
• Witness inspections and testing activities conducted by contractors.
• Maintain detailed site diaries, inspection records, and progress reports.
• Report construction issues and non-conformances to the Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and project requirements.
• Assist in resolving site coordination issues and monitor rectification works.

About the Candidate

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.
• Registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the relevant Singapore authority.
• Experience supervising construction projects within Singapore.
• Good knowledge of local construction practices, BCA regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Meticulous, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
