Senior Engineering Assistant / Industrialization

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Assistant (Industrialization) to support manufacturing operations for released products. This role focuses on ensuring smooth production, stable processes, and continuous improvement across the factory floor.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support production activities, manage engineering changes, and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing and post-release production activities
• Maintain and update production floor layouts and process flow diagrams
• Create and update Documented Work Instructions (DWI)
• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECR) implementation into production (SAP)
• Collect and analyze production data (yield, cycle time, defects)
• Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone)
• Support production readiness, material flow, and process stability
• Drive continuous improvement (yield, cost, efficiency)
• Ensure manufacturing documentation is accurate and up to date
• Support production testing activities when required
• Perform basic rework and soldering (through-hole & SMT)

Requirements

• Diploma / ITE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or related)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or assembly environment
• Knowledge of production processes and factory operations
• Basic problem-solving skills (5 Why, Fishbone)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/Jira/Confluence is a plus
• Good teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
