Senior Java Developer - Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications and cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development expertise, hands-on experience in cloud environments, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop and support RESTful APIs and Microservices-based solutions for business-critical applications.

• Design scalable and secure application architectures to support growing business requirements.

• Build, deploy, and manage applications in cloud environments, preferably Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud).

• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and frontend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution planning sessions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Implement CI/CD practices and support automated deployment pipelines.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.

• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or above).

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.

• Proven experience in designing and developing Microservices-based applications.

• Strong understanding of REST API development and integration.

• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud), including services such as ECS, RDS, OSS, or equivalent cloud technologies.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Exposure to high-volume, distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience supporting global technology platforms and cross-border teams.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
