Salary: $8,000 per month
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Leave Entitlement: 14 Days Annual Leave & 14 Days Medical Leave (Yearly)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager (Research) to support applied research initiatives in Human Factors Engineering (HFE). The incumbent will collaborate closely with tertiary institutions and research organisations to conduct research studies and translate findings into practical applications for platform design, capability enhancement, and training optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with universities and research institutions to conduct applied research in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and related disciplines.
• Conduct research studies in areas such as Man-Machine Interface (MMI), Cognitive Task Analysis, and human performance optimisation.
• Analyse research findings and develop design parameters to support the development of new platforms and enhancement of existing systems.
• Derive and recommend suitable live-virtual training mixes to optimise platform training effectiveness.
• Work with industry partners and stakeholders to facilitate research activities, testing initiatives, and capability development projects.
• Prepare research papers, reports, presentations, and management updates with strong analytical and written communication standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors Engineering, STEM disciplines, or other related fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Human Factors Engineering, applied research, or related STEM domains.
• Prior experience collaborating with industry partners, research institutions, or academic organisations for research and testing activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong staff writing capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
