Position: Senior Structural Design Manager (Tender & Design Management)
JD:
1. Lead and coordinate structural design activities for Design-Build (DB) and EPC tender submissions, ensuring technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
2. Prepare, review, and compile technical tender documents, including design proposals, calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation.
3. Coordinate with internal disciplines, consultants, subcontractors, and external stakeholders during tender preparation and post-tender clarification stages.
4. Manage and oversee structural design development throughout the project lifecycle following contract award, ensuring timely delivery of design deliverables.
5. Review and coordinate design changes, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with relevant Singapore codes, standards, and project specifications.
6. Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and engineering teams to facilitate design coordination, technical discussions, and design approvals.
7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the structural design team, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions and effective project execution.
8. Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and design optimization to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural design and design management for building construction projects.
• Prior experience with a reputable building design institute or engineering consultancy in Singapore is required; experience with a well-established design consultancy is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in Design-Build (DB), EPC, or large-scale building projects, including tender preparation and design management.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations, design codes, and industry standards.
• Excellent technical, design coordination, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience coordinating clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
Salary: $8,000- $12,000
