Associate Engineer/Engineer Assistant - Part-Time

Responsibilities:

The System Administrator shall conduct administration and maintenance on the Coastal Surveillance System. The activities shall include:

· Maintenance of Server Logs.

· Checks on Security Audit Tools.

· Monitor network and UPS availability

· Checking of error logs

· Update virus definition files and Security patches

· Checking if there are sufficient system resources for Servers (like hard disk space, memory space, CPU utilization rate)

· Perform rebooting of Operating System on Servers

· Monitoring the High Availability Implementation

· Update system files and perform backup

· Performing Firewall log monitoring

· Cleaning of equipment and server room

· Attempt to bring-up the problematic server and applications to standby mode and observe for any irregularities, record observations and stop further attempt if failed

· Perform system recovery if needed.

· Conduct initial investigation and diagnosis with assistance from System Administrator.

· Basic command troubleshooting for network issue.

Requirements:

· Min Higher NITEC

· Willing to learn.

· Able to work 12 hours rotating shifts.

· Able to Multitask.

· Able to work overtime will be a plus.

Other Information

· Working hours (Day: 8.15am to 8.15pm, Night: 8.15pm to 8.15am)

· Working on weekends/public holidays (PH Allowances provided)

· Working Location (PSA P.BRANI)

· Level of security clearance required (MHA CAT 2A)

· Singaporean

· Contract duration: 2 years

· Shift and Site allowances provided

· 1 year completion Performance Bonus
