Systems Operations Engineer (1 Year Contract / FMCG Industry) - Part-Time

Our client is a global MNC, one of the most established pioneers in the Chemical industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Systems Operations Engineer to be part of their IT Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Duties of Systems Operations Engineer:

• Provide operational support and administration for system infrastructure.
• Monitor performance of regional system and storage infrastructure and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure comprehensive monitoring of infrastructure and services, enabling clear visibility and awareness of potential failures or gaps at regional level.
• Identify and resolve problems/issues, collaborating with multiple vendors to determine root causes and implement suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of current configurations in the Knowledge Base.
• Assist in implementing approved infrastructure changes, maintenance routines, and updates/upgrades for components.
• Conduct data backups and execute disaster recovery operations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
• 2 – 4 years of relevant experience with Hardware Systems
