Community Partnerships Intern (Communications & Event Management) - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of community engagement and fundraising events.
• Assist in the development of marketing and communications materials for campaigns and events.
• Create content for social media platforms and newsletters, including ideation, copywriting, and basic graphic design.
• Monitor and support the management of the organisation's social media accounts.
• Assist in the administration of donations, donor records, and related documentation.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Community Partnerships team.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support programme and event implementation where required.
• Undertake any other projects and duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Event Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum internship commitment of 3 months.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• A proactive team player with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
