Freelance Event Manager - Part-Time

ABOUT THE ROLE
Get Out! Events is building a pool of freelance Event Managers / Project Event Leads for corporate and private event projects in Singapore.

This is a freelance / project-based opportunity for experienced event professionals who can take over confirmed projects from the business development team and manage them from planning through execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take over confirmed event projects after client confirmation
• Manage planning from briefing to execution
• Liaise with clients on requirements, timelines, deliverables, and updates
• Coordinate venues, suppliers, logistics, manpower, permits, production, and event materials
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project cadence meetings
• Prepare event timelines, run sheets, checklists, and project updates
• Manage vendors, crew, and suppliers before and during the event
• Lead onsite setup, execution, troubleshooting, and teardown
• Ensure delivery matches the agreed scope, budget, timeline, and client expectations

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience managing corporate, community, government, or large-scale events
• Able to manage projects independently with minimal handholding
• Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable coordinating suppliers, crew, venues, logistics, and onsite operations
• Able to attend site visits, meetings, rehearsals, and event days as required
• Highly organised, responsive, and detail-oriented
• Able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when events require it
• Able to work on-site in Singapore when required

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with family days, dinner and dance events, roadshows, launches, conferences, seminars, or team building events
• Existing supplier, crew, venue, or production knowledge
• Ability to prepare timelines, run sheets, production schedules, and logistics checklists

ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE
This is a freelance / project-based role. Compensation depends on project scope, duration, complexity, and level of involvement required. Suitable candidates will be added to our freelance event management pool and contacted when relevant projects are available.
