Project Manager (Events) - Contract - Part-Time

Job Summary (4 to 6 months contract)

Manage end-to-end turnkey production of events and projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, seamless event experiences across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead turnkey production of new and ongoing projects across Singapore and other locations, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Collaborate closely with Account Servicing and Operations teams to translate client-approved concepts into successful executions
• Negotiate and procure quotations from suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to optimize resources and costs
• Conduct site inspections and take precise measurements to inform event planning and setup
• Apply for all necessary licenses and permits from relevant authorities to ensure compliance
• Prepare detailed pre-event planning documents and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and venue owners for smooth setup
• Provide on-site operational support, including managing manpower and supervising event setup to uphold quality standards
• Perform pre-event and on-site quality control checks on all production deliverables to ensure client satisfaction
• Manage transportation, delivery, and accurate accounting of all equipment and event assets
• Coordinate post-event teardown and ensure venue reinstatement to original condition
• Oversee event operations and production budgets to maintain financial control
• Plan and source resources required for pre-event planning, on-site execution, and overall event coordination

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in Google Suite, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare documents and reports
• Minimum 5 years of experience in event operations and production, including live events, conferences, and exhibitions
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to articulate ideas and secure favorable terms with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being an effective team player
• Practical knowledge of event operations and production elements such as Audio-Visual, props fabrication, and IT

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience as an Operations or Production Manager specializing in Events Management or equivalent
