Bakery Assistant - Part-Time

We currently have a position available for a highly motivated full time Bakery Assistant who is passionate about producing exceptional quality cakes, pastries, biscuits and slices.

We are seeking someone to support our team of qualified Pastry Chefs. This role involves basic food handling, packing all daily production, assisting with ingredients and picking finished orders for customers. This role does not require a trade qualification, however previous experience in a similar role within food manufacturing/kitchen environment would be helpful. This position involves moving quite efficiently around a kitchen and will suit fit, active motivated individuals.

6-day work week, 7am to 4pm

The successful applicant will have:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Halal-certified environment

• Any food handling experience is required

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar environment

• Excellent time management and the ability to work within a small team as a team player.

• A passion for baking, quality presentation and a keen eye for detail

• Strong written and oral communication skills, basic computer skills.
