Breakfast Chef - Part-Time

Job Description & Requirements:
Stamford Social is looking for a reliable, organised and quality-focused Breakfast Chef / Cook to join our opening team. As an all-day restaurant and community space, breakfast will be an important part of the guest experience and sets the tone for the day. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a consistent standard, ensuring your station is set up and ready for service, maintaining cleanliness and organisation, and supporting a smooth and efficient kitchen operation during morning service. This role suits someone who enjoys early shifts, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering well-executed food in a team environment.

Key requirements
Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred
Comfortable preparing and cooking breakfast items in a fast-paced service environment
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Able to follow recipes, instructions, and kitchen procedures consistently
Strong attention to cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
Able to work weekends, public holidays, and early shifts as required

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast items consistently in line with company standards
Ensure the breakfast station is organised, stocked, and fully ready before service begins
Support mise en place, ingredient preparation, and smooth execution during service
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
Monitor stock levels for the breakfast section and communicate shortages promptly
Follow opening, closing, cleaning, and equipment care procedures properly
