Job Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including service standards, scheduling and attendance.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer feedback or complaints.
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery.
• Manage inventory levels of beverages, consumables and operating supplies.
• Assist in controlling operating costs, wastage and manpower expenses.
• Support the planning and execution of private dining events, banquets and special functions.
• Train and guide service staff to maintain consistent service quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in the F&B or restaurant industry.
• Experience in Chinese restaurant operations will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and shifts when required.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers and staff.
