Job Brief
We are looking for pastry cooks to be part of our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry, baking and dessert preparation, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities include preparing and baking pastries, cakes and desserts, following recipes and presentation standards, preparing ingredients and mise en place, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistency, quality and timely production. What you will be doing:
● Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts and baked items according to recipes and standards
● Ensure consistency in taste, quality and presentation
● Assist with mise en place and daily production
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section
● Ensure that display fridges are fully stocked, replenished throughout the day, and maintained to a high standard of presentation at all times
● Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
