Service Crew - Part-Time

JOB SUMMARY

8 Korean BBQ offers a premium, full-service Korean BBQ experience built around our signature 8 Flavours pork belly, premium beef cuts, and a 100% seed oil-free kitchen. We're looking for an attentive Service Crew member who can guide guests through the experience — from tableside grilling to banchan refills — with warmth and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome and seat guests; introduce the 8 Flavours pork belly concept, BBQ sets, and premium cuts

• Take food and beverage orders accurately via POS

• Assist guests with tableside BBQ grilling, including changing grill plates and monitoring doneness for safety and quality

• Serve and continuously refill banchan (side dishes), sauces, and dips

• Deliver efficient, attentive service during peak lunch and dinner periods

• Handle bill settlement, payment collection, and coordinate reservations and table turnover (incl. the 90-minute peak-period dining limit)

• Clear and reset tables promptly between seatings

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of dining areas, grill stations, and service equipment

• Uphold consistent service standards across outlets in line with brand guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior F&B or restaurant service experience preferred, ideally in Korean BBQ or grill dining; training provided

• Comfortable working closely with hot tableside grills; safety-conscious at all times

• Able to work rotating split shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

• Strong communication and teamwork skills; conversational Mandarin or Korean an advantage for guest engagement

• Physically able to stand, walk, and handle BBQ equipment safely for extended periods
