Assistant Physiotherapist / Sports Trainer

Position: Assistant Physiotherapist / Sports Trainer

Location: Temasek Polytechnic, 21 Tampines Avenue 1,Singapore 529757

Contract Period: Academic Year 2026/2027 (Option toExtend)

Working Schedule

• Up to 3 sessions per week
• Mainly Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
• 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Schedule may change based on competition requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physiotherapist in delivering rehabilitation programmes.
• Supervise prescribed therapeutic exercises.
• Assist with sports injury recovery programmes.
• Apply hot packs and other approved therapeutic modalities.
• Provide sports massage under the Physiotherapist's supervision.
• Monitor athletes during rehabilitation exercises.
• Prepare treatment areas and therapy equipment.
• Maintain treatment records and assist with administrative documentation.
• Ensure proper infection control and workplace safety practices.
• Support physiotherapy services during competition periods.

Requirements

• Diploma in Sports Science, Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
• Sports Trainer Level 1 certification will also be considered.
• Valid Standard First Aid (SFA) and AED Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an Assistant Physiotherapist, Sports Trainer or similar role.
• Good understanding of rehabilitation exercises and sports injury management.
• Ability to work evenings and flexible schedules during competitions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
