Attachment Description

This role will ensure workplace safety and environmental compliance in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations.

2. Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards.

3. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports.

4. Implement corrective and preventive safety actions.

5. Conduct safety inspections and workplace audits.

6. Deliver safety training and toolbox meetings.

7. Maintain safety records and documentation.

8. Support emergency preparedness and fire drills.

9. Monitor proper waste handling and hazardous materials management.

Technical Skills and Competencies

1. Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations knowledge /

Risk assessment (JHA/JSA, hazard identification, control measures) / Incident investigation and root cause analysis

2. Safety auditing and workplace inspections /

ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) awareness/

Emergency response planning (fire safety, evacuation procedures)

3. Hazardous substances and waste management handling /

Safety documentation and reporting (logs, permits, incident reports)

Mature Mid Career Individuals- $3, 800
