Intern, Medical Affairs - Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic intern from Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related healthcare disciplines to support Medical Affairs priorities and strategic initiatives. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to early access workstreams, scientific/medical content development, and the planning and execution of medical events across specialties into execution.

Exposure areas (what you will support and learn)

Medical Affairs priorities and strategic initiatives (supporting scope under guidance):

• Support early access projects for key portfolio priorities
• Assist with medical content development, scientific communication materials, and cross-functional medical input

Medical project and event support:

• Support the planning and execution of 2–3 year-end medical events across specialties, including coordination with internal teams, external faculty, vendors, and agencies

Other Medical Affairs & Regulatory duties:

• Additional Medical Affairs & Regulatory duties and projects may be assigned based on business and portfolio priorities

What we’re looking for

• Availability of at least 4 to 12 months, 4 to 5 days (9am to 5pm) per work week.
• Passionate about healthcare, science, and improving patient outcomes
• Educational background in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related healthcare disciplines is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is required
• Resourceful with strong research, analytical, and synthesis skills
• Good understanding of medical affairs, scientific communication, or healthcare engagement is an advantage
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team
