Locum Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre) - Part-Time

We are seeking a Staff Nurse to join our client's plastic surgery clinic on a 6-month locum contract. The successful candidate will support operating theatre and clinic operations while delivering quality patient care.

Contract Duration:

6 Months (with potential for permanent conversion)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during plastic and aesthetic surgical procedures.
• Perform surgical scrub duties and maintain a sterile operating environment.
• Prepare operating theatre equipment, instruments, and consumables.
• Provide nursing care and support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Comply with clinical protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate patient appointments, financial counselling, documentation, and general clinic administrative matters.
• Support the smooth operation of the clinic and operating theatre.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Prior operating theatre experience.
• Surgical scrub experience preferred.
• Experience in plastic surgery and/or aesthetic procedures will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage administrative and patient coordination responsibilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday : 9:00 AM to 1:00PM

Location: Novena

Terms

• 6-month locum contract
• Locum rate: $28/hour (Weekdays) | $30/hour (Weekends)
• Potential opportunity for conversion to a permanent position, subject to performance and business requirements
