Perm & Locum Staff Nurse/Phlebotomist (Central) #HFT - Part-Time

• Performs venipuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory.

• Sort and record all blood specimens collected, ensuring their proper labeling and dispatch to the Laboratory via the appropriate mode.

• Carrying out medical tasks like measuring blood pressure, height, and weight, checking visual acuity, conducting pregnancy urine tests, filling out forms, and helping patients complete health declarations before they sign them.

• Assist the doctor with general consultations, in-clinic procedures, and surgical interventions. Furthermore, support the doctor in dispensing medication and consumables autonomously.

• Performs venipuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory. To perform ECG, vaccinations, Pap smear, and high vaginal swab on patients when necessary.

• Assist the doctor with general consultations, in-clinic procedures, and surgical interventions. Furthermore, support the doctor in dispensing medication and consumables autonomously.

• Sort and record all blood specimens collected, ensuring their proper labeling and dispatch to the Laboratory via the appropriate mode.

• Administrative responsibilities include patient registration, meticulous maintenance of accurate medical records, and the scheduling of appointments.

• Carrying out medical tasks like measuring blood pressure, height, and weight, checking visual acuity, conducting pregnancy urine tests, filling out forms, and helping patients complete health declarations before they sign them.

Requirements:
• Diploma in Nursing / Certificate in Phlebotomy with relevant experience
• Able to do venepuncture / cannulation
• Enrolled Nurse good with phlebotomy OK!
