Senior Research Fellow (Healthcare Redesign)(6127) - Alexandra Hospital - Part-Time

Overview

The research fellow (data analyst) will be involved in multi-cohort Human Biomedical Research studies. He/she will be based at Alexandra Hospital.  He/she is expected to extract valuable insights and actionable knowledge from large, complex datasets. He or she is expected to work closely with the principle investigator and senior research members in data analysis, interpretation and modelling of the data to drive innovation ad support evidence-based decision-making. He will also guide the in-house data analyst.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

1. investigate and understand large structured and unstructured datasets.
2. Identify patterns, trends and correlations to uncover actionable insights 
3. Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning, statistical techniques, or artificial intelligence.
4. Create algorithms to forecast trends and enhance decision making
5. Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data backed recommendations

Requirements

• • Master’s degree or PhD degree in advanced analytical or technical friends like Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence will be preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in applied data analysis, modelling or machine learning. Fresh graduates who have relevant exposures in internships or academic projects are welcome to apply
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • This contract will ends on Nov 2026.
