Senior Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and restrain domestic pets (cats and dogs) during consults and treatments
• Prepare surgical room, pack/sterilize instruments and assist veterinarian during sterile procedures
• Run point on pre-, intra-, and post-operative anesthetic monitoring for routine surgeries like sterilizations and dentals
• Perform blood draw, place IV catheters and process basic tests (blood, urine, skin scraping)
• Administer prescribed medications
• Support at reception to register pets, schedule appointments, handle payments and answer phone calls/email/WhatsApp inquiries whenever necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience handling animals is preferred. Those with nursing background are also welcome
• English speaking is a must. Ability to speak other local languages is an advantage
• Willingness to work from Wednesday to Saturday
• Working hours 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday and Friday and at least 6 hours on Wednesday and Saturday only when required
• $12-$15/hour depending on experience
