Sr Radiography Associate - Part-Time

Radiography Associate (1-yr contract, 3-rotating shifts)

JOB SUMMARY

In charge of x-ray accessories, x-ray processors, audio-visual equipment, inventory of x-ray films, operating supplies and radiological supplies.

Oversee maintenance and stock check of Lead aprons.

Oversee maintenance of department facilities and carry out minor repair.

Ensure the storage of all departments’ operating supplies complies with IQEHS and JCI.

Maintain inventory of the department’s computers.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update into the computer and maintains the daily physical stocks of films, contrast media, catheters, guide-wires and intervention radiological supplies, etc.
• Record the types and quantities of contrast media distributed for various sections in the department.
• Top-up / issue operating supplies to the various procedure rooms daily.
• Perform weekly stock-take of operating supplies.
• Receive and verify all operating supplies sent to department by MMD and vendors.
• Responsible for safe-keeping of stores in the department.
• Assist Principal Radiographer to perform six monthly checks for all Lead-aprons in the department and wards.
• Record the routine checks and replacement of any Lead aprons.
• Ensure the working and operating of the Audio-Visual equipment in the department.
• Maintain inventory of the department’s computers.
• Ensure the working of the motorized x-ray film viewers / mammography multi-film viewers.
• Ensure the working of the CD burner for x-ray image duplication.
• Assist fire warden to check fire-fighting equipment and fire exit doors of the department.
• Appointed and trained as assistant fire warden in the department.
• Collect and issue TLD badges (Radiation Dose Meter) from National Environment Agency – (Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science) for the Radiology Department .
