Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications, including dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
Provide recommendations on over-the-counter (OTC) medications and healthcare products.
Monitor patients' medication therapy and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
Prepare, label, and package medications while ensuring compliance with dispensing procedures.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records, prescription documentation, and inventory logs.
Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment, expiry monitoring, and controlled drug management.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, licensing requirements, and Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) standards.
Participate in medication safety initiatives, quality improvement activities, and patient education programs.
Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, and support staff where applicable.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
