Automation Test Manager - Part-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Manager to drive quality excellence across software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience managing automation teams, with expertise across regression, performance, API, and functional testing disciplines.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• Must have 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering roles;
• Must have in test automation tools for regression and performance (e.g., Tricentis TOSCA, NeoLoad);
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD;
• Experience with configuration tracking, process validation, and risk compliance;
• Strong expertise in regression, performance, API, and functional testing strategies;
• Demonstrated experience in test planning and estimation, quality metrics governance, and defect lifecycle management.

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and productivity improvements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage group of 10 automation engineers from both regression and performance tracks.
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, frameworks, and standards across software development projects;
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing;
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies;
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage;
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the testing lifecycle;
• Lead initiatives to improve testing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality;
• Support agile software development practices and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, business analysts, and project managers to align quality goals with business needs;
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of quality objectives.
