Senior / IT Technical Lead - Part-Time

The IT Technical Lead will drive the architecture, development, and optimization of digital tourism platforms, including booking systems, content-driven websites, and personalized customer journeys. This role requires strong expertise in modern digital experience platforms, marketing technology (MarTech), and AI-driven engagement to deliver seamless, data-driven travel experiences.

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end architecture for tourism platforms, including booking engines, CMS-driven websites, and mobile applications
• Design and manage integrations between core systems, CMS, DAM, MarTech platforms, and third-party travel services
• Implement and optimize content delivery and personalization strategies across digital channels
• Oversee real-time booking, pricing, and inventory systems with high availability and scalability
• Integrate with external travel ecosystems (airlines, hotels, payment gateways, GDS platforms)
• Drive API-first and microservices architecture for flexibility and partner integrations
• Implement AI-driven solutions such as chatbots, recommendation engines, and LLM-based optimizers
• Ensure secure, compliant handling of customer data (PDPA where applicable)
• Lead DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure management
• Mentor engineering teams and enforce best practices in architecture, coding, and testing

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• More than 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with proven leadership competency

• Ability to bridge business, marketing, and technical teams

• Proven experience implementing Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (AEM, Target, etc.)
• Strong understanding of content-driven architecture and headless CMS
• Experience integrating MarTech platforms with customer data and booking systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures
• Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, and high-traffic platforms
• Experience in tourism, e-commerce, or digital experience platforms
