[GOVT] Learning And Development Specialist (Policy) - JL - Part-Time

Job Type: Permanent (1-year Direct Contract)
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm, Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Basic Salary: Negotiable

Responsibilities:

· Support the capacity building needs of officers and teams in the public service. This includes identifying their competency gaps.

· Foster close relations with key stakeholders in government agencies, and policy and planning units.

· Keep pace with related developments and identify emerging issues

· Develop interventions and programmes to bridge competency gaps and oversee the implementation of the interventions and programmes.

· Nurture and expand communities of practice across the service

· Undertake facilitation/moderation and note-taking, where necessary.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Political Science, Social Sciences or other relevant fields.

· At least 2 years of experience in Learning and Development / policy work in Public Service.

· Certification in ACLP or ACTA will be an advantage.

· Strong public speaking and facilitation skills are a bonus.
