Legal / Insurance Claims Associate (Aviation/ 9 Months/ No Exp Ok!) - Part-Time

The Opportunity

• Opportunity to work within a leading retail & hospitality group in Asia. You will act as the first point of contact for internal clients relating to all claims and potential claims.
• Salary: up to $3.3k! (subjected to experience)
• Location: East
• Good learning exposure!
• 9 months contract (yearly renewable contract)

The Talent

• Diploma or degree in law
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent and demonstrated PC skills in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Possess initiative and ability to thrive in a team oriented environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Hardworking, efficient and able to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Previous work experience as a paralegal/legal executive

The Job

• Efficiently managing all claims/incidents
• Reviewing documents and investigating all claims/incidents including assisting business units with their investigations;
• Advising business units on best course of action to manage claims/incidents and assisting with negotiating a suitable resolution to the matter;
• Managing timely reporting of incidents/claims/potential claims to organisation's insurers;
• Drafting and issuing the relevant correspondence to external parties on all claim-related matters;
• Establishing and regularly updating internal dashboard of claims and other contentious matters, both by and against third parties; and supporting the Legal & Compliance team on other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
