Automation Architect - Part-Time

We are seeking a skilled Factory Automation Architect to lead the design, planning, and deployment of advanced automation in our manufacturing facility. You’ll leverage technologies like camera vision, RFID, AGVs, AMRs, and Industry 4.0 to build a smart, efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy & Design: Create automation solutions for manufacturing processes, integrating technologies such as RFID, AGVs, AMRs, and data analytics.
• Project Management: Oversee end-to-end automation projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Smart Factory Development: Drive real-time data analytics, IoT integration, and predictive maintenance.
• System Integration & Optimization: Ensure seamless integration of automation technologies with existing systems.
• Technical Leadership & Training: Guide engineering teams on best practices and new technologies; train staff on system use.
• Compliance & Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and ensure solutions comply with safety standards.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain process documentation, troubleshoot systems, and identify improvement areas.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
• Expertise in automation technologies, robotics, and process optimization.
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications (PMP, Six Sigma a plus).
