Senior Executive / Executive (Dangerous Goods) 6 Months Contract #JLN - Part-Time

Job Summary

As an Executive/Senior Executive in the Dangerous Goods (DG) team, you will ensure the safe and legal handling of DG according to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG) and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to verify their originality and compliance with safety standards
• Check and validate Non-DG requests to ensure proper classification and handling
• Examine chemical components listed in SDS for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Respond promptly to general enquiries related to Dangerous Goods to support operational efficiency
• Perform additional duties assigned by the DG Team or manager to support team objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Maritime Studies or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Dangerous Goods Desk environment
