Inspector - Part-Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

a) Perform complete inspection of components (assemblies, sub-assemblies), including modifications, repairs, overhaul, to determine airworthiness, safety or conformance to approved data.

b) Assists workshop in monitoring of component shelf life requirements, shop/organization cleanliness, FOD control, Suspected Unapproved Part (SUP), etc.

c) Apply technical knowledge (in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, etc.) to determine sign off safety, airworthiness, or conformance.

d) Perform conformity checks of final product or components to determine safety or conformance to standards and requirements as per approved document.

e) To ensure final release documents are compliance to customer repair orders. Verify incoming documents are in order with customers parts received.

f) Verify that only serviceable parts and materials are used in the service of approved documents.

g) Conducts final review of all maintenance documents and records prior to records archival for completion and correctness.

h) Ensure documents and manuals used by maintenance are current.

i) Support safety promotion, quality, and safety culture.

j) Raise discrepancies report for any deviation found and follow through the root cause analysis with stakeholders.

k) Analyze and propose solutions to prevent escapes by providing training to QT and CS.

l) Work on improvement projects to improve work areas and procedures

m) Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations as prescribed by law and company’s policies.

n) Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations.

o) Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

a) Diploma / Degree related to aviation, electronics or industrial engineering course.

b) Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the aerospace repair and overhaul environment, preferably with hands-on experience on aircraft components and working knowledge of production planning.

c) Dynamic, highly motivated and able to plan, monitor and expedite output to meet deadlines and monthly sales targets. d) Familiar with Part 145 maintenance requirements and CAAS Papers preferable although not mandatory.

e) Technically conversant with all aspects of quality and workflow requirements.

f) Meticulous in man-hour and material costs to ensure that each job is profitable and that manpower is efficiently utilized and deployed.

g) Able to work independently/multi-task and under fast paced environment.

h) Able to work well with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel. A good SAP knowledge and application is an advantage.
