Job Description - Communications Intern - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities

In building up its outreach work and planning towards initiatives of the next year, the Communications and Business Development team is seeking to engage communications interns to provide the following areas of support:

• Support content production work such as the development and editing of collaterals such as posters, brochures, social media graphics and electronic direct mailers.

The position holder may also be required to:

• Assist in project and event management. This could include logistical coordination, preparing event materials and providing on-site support.

• Support research work on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to provide insights that can inform communication strategies.

• Help track, analyse and compile reports on the performance of communication campaigns and initiatives using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and email campaign metrics.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Hands-on knowledge of Graphic Design Software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.

• Hands-on knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Telegram).

• Knowledge of Design and video production will be advantageous.

• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and good time management.

• A team player who is creative, proactive, driven, positive, curious, adaptable, intuitive and a self-starter.
