The Sales Intern supports the company's business development and sales efforts by managing client enquiries, preparing proposals and quotations, and assisting with marketing initiatives. They work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure that customer requirements are understood and addressed promptly.
The Sales Intern is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and organisational skills. They are comfortable interacting with clients and contributing ideas to support business growth. In addition to sales and administrative responsibilities, they may be required to support event operations, including logistics preparation and on-site event coordination when necessary.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with opportunities to work from home on certain days, while maintaining flexibility to attend meetings, events, and operational activities as required.
Responsibilities
Respond to client enquiries via email, phone, and messaging platforms
Prepare proposal decks, quotations, and other sales-related documents for prospective clients
Follow up with leads and maintain positive client relationships
Assist in meetings with clients to understand event requirements and objectives
Support business development initiatives and sales outreach efforts
Create and schedule social media content to support marketing campaigns and brand awareness
Assist with administrative duties, including data entry, documentation, filing, and CRM updates
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements
Liaise with vendors to source, coordinate, and secure equipment and services required for events
Assist with packing, preparation, and stock-taking of event equipment and logistics
Provide on-site support during events, including programme coordination and participant management
Assist in monitoring event operations to ensure programmes run smoothly
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask effectively
Comfortable communicating with clients and stakeholders
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and presentation software
Basic graphic design or social media marketing experience is a bonus
Passion for sports, events, and customer engagement
Prior experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or event management is advantageous
Standard First Aid, CPR/AED - Bonus
NROC (of any sports field) - Bonus
