Job Description

Job Purpose

Produce end-to-end training videos that simplify complex technical topics, improve knowledge retention, and integrate smoothly with the company LMS (Learning Management System).

Responsibilities

Pre-production

• Plan, script and storyboard training videos based on procedure complexity.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand Power Generation procedures in preparation for filming.
• Apply adult-learning principles to simplify complex technical topics and improve knowledge retention.

Production

• Film Power Generation procedures on-site and coordinate filming sessions.
• Aid in creating multimedia assets.
• Maintain organised file management.

Post-Production

• Edit training videos (eg, with DaVinci Resolve) for company use and ensure video accessibility (subtitles, clear visuals, etc.)
• Gather stakeholder feedback and revise videos iteratively based on review sessions.
• Export and publish final videos to relevant platforms.

Others

• Design Articulate 360 courses and develop interactive elements.
• Miscellaneous day-to-day office tasks, etc.

Expected Deliverables

• Interactive video modules about power plant facilities, procedures, safety precautions, and key explanations.

Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing Diploma/Degree in Multimedia/Design, Videography, Media Production or related fields.
• Portfolio link(s) to video projects.
• Tools: DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Premiere Pro; Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise).
• Basic image editing and design (eg, Photoshop, PowerPoint).
• Soft skills: clear communication, attention to detail, strong time management, and openness to feedback.

Good to Have

• Experience collaborating across disciplines.
• Motion graphics (eg, After Effects).
• Branching scenarios or simulations experience (eg, Articulate 360).
• Awareness of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Instructional/Adult Learning, Education or related.

Contract Type: Internship (Minimum 12 weeks; up to 24 weeks)

Working Hours: Office hours (Mon–Fri); occasional filming/voiceover outside core hours with prior notice

Reports To: Technical Learning Manager

Safety & Security (Jurong Island)

• Jurong Island is a Protected Area; persons/vehicles require valid passes for entry. Clearance must be maintained throughout the internship.
• Attendance at Safety Induction Course (SIC) and compliance with station WSH rules are mandatory for on‑site work/visits.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated plant areas (e.g., safety helmet, hearing protection).
