Marketing & Events Intern

Location: International Plaza, Tanjong Pagar (Directly above Tanjong Pagar MRT)
Employment Type: Internship (Minimum 6-month commitment)
Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Tuesday to Saturday)

About Carden SG

Carden SG is a local scenthouse specialising in handcrafted perfumes, home scents and interactive scent workshops. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic intern who enjoys engaging with people, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Sales & Customer Service

  • Welcome and assist customers at our retail store.

  • Recommend fragrances and products based on customers' preferences.

  • Process retail transactions and provide excellent customer service.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the retail space.

Workshops & Events

  • Assist in the setup and teardown of workshops, pop-up events and corporate activations.

  • Support the smooth execution of workshops and events.

  • Host and facilitate perfume-making workshops.

  • Engage participants to ensure an enjoyable customer experience.

  • Assist with event logistics and inventory management.

Order Fulfilment & Operations

  • Prepare, pack and fulfil online and offline customer orders accurately.

  • Refill, label and prepare products for retail, workshops and events.

  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management.

  • Support daily operational tasks to ensure smooth business operations.

Marketing & Administrative Support

  • Assist with content creation for social media, including photography, videography and short-form videos.

  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional activities.

  • Assist with administrative duties such as data entry and documentation.

  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum commitment of 6 months.

  • Friendly, proactive and willing to learn.

  • Comfortable interacting with customers and hosting workshops.

  • Organised, responsible and able to multitask.

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Interest in retail, marketing, events or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
