Job Summary

Join HDI Global SE Singapore as a Market Management Intern (6-Month Internship) to support the Market Management team in driving business development and market engagement initiatives.

This role offers hands-on exposure across key areas including Marketing & Communications, Sales & Distribution, Market Intelligence, and Client Engagement, providing a well-rounded understanding of the commercial insurance landscape.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

• Support the coordination of HDI’s participation in conferences, sponsorships, and industry events
• Assist in the planning and execution of market events, webinars, and workshops for brokers and business partners
• Manage sourcing, ordering, and inventory tracking of branded merchandise
• Assist in developing and updating branding and communication materials, including publications, LinkedIn content, presentations, and company profiles

Sales & Distribution

• Assist in maintaining and updating sales pipeline and distribution data using Excel and CRM systems
• Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and management meetings
• Provide administrative support to business development activities where required

Market Intelligence

• Conduct research on market trends, competitors, brokers, and target clients to support strategic initiatives
• Compile and organise data for market intelligence reporting
• Assist in preparing insights and presentations to support decision-making

Client Engagement

• Support the preparation of meeting materials and follow-up actions for client and partner engagements
• Maintain and update contact databases and engagement records
• Coordinate internal and external meetings to support seamless client interactions
• Contribute to delivering a positive and professional client experience

Other Responsibilities

• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives assigned by the Market Management team
• Promote HDI Global SE Singapore positively through all engagements and activities
• Assist in cross-functional collaboration where required

Required Competencies and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/ degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in the insurance or financial services industry
• Prior internship experience in marketing, business development, or events coordination would be advantageous
• Familiarity with CRM tools or data analysis would be an added advantage
