Public Relations Executive (Freelance, 6-Month Contract) - Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct media and creator outreach to secure coverage and engagement opportunities.

• Refine, coordinate, and distribute press releases to relevant media contacts.

• Develop and pitch compelling brand stories to media outlets and identify media opportunities.

• Coordinate with influencers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for campaigns and partnerships.

• Support the planning and announcement of brand partnerships and collaborations.

• Manage product and experience seeding to media, creators, and influencers.

• Prepare and submit entries for relevant beauty awards and industry recognitions.

• Provide communications and public relations support for key campaign moments throughout the year.

• Contribute to building awareness, credibility, and positive brand perception for Glow Bar, DrGL, and future business initiatives.

• Assist with ad hoc projects and duties as required.

Who we are looking for:

• Possess a Diploma/Bachelor in Public Relations/Marketing/Communications or a related field.

• Possess at least 1 year of working experience in public relations, communications and passion working in the beauty retail industry. Candidates who have recently graduated with public relations internship experience working with beauty brands will be considered.

• Familiar with media database and public relations distribution platforms.

• Experience using social media platforms for brand monitoring and outreach.

• Knowledge of influencer marketing and creator management tools is preferred.

• Existing media, influencer, or industry contacts are an advantage.

• Knowledge in Microsoft Suite in using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, live-streams, videography or photography, or editing software is advantageous.

• Ability to speak, write and communicate fluently is required.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Take ownership and accountability of projects.

• Commit 20 hours a week.
