Job Description - Senior Account Director - Part-Time

The Senior Account Director is a key strategic leader within the agency, responsible for driving client success, agency growth, and team development. This role builds upon the Account Director position, with expanded responsibilities in strategic leadership, business development, and cross-functional collaboration. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, lead high-impact campaigns, and ensure the delivery of award-winning work that meets both creative and commercial objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead strategic communications planning across multiple accounts, ensuring alignment with client business goals and market opportunities.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership in creative strategy, integrating emerging trends, technologies, and data-driven insights.
  • Oversee the development of integrated marketing solutions across ATL, BTL, digital, and experiential channels.

Client Partnership & Growth

  • Cultivate senior-level client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor and business partner.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead new business pitches and proposals.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and consistent delivery of value.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and manage Account Directors and Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee team resourcing, career development, and succession planning.
  • Champion collaboration across departments and with external partners to ensure seamless execution.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and strategic relevance.
  • Lead financial management of accounts, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability tracking.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across account teams.

Creative & Campaign Oversight

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight on all creative outputs and campaign executions.
  • Lead planning workshops, brainstorms, and client presentations.
  • Ensure post-campaign analysis and reporting are insightful and actionable.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in creative communications, with proven success in leading regional or multi-market accounts.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities and deep understanding of integrated marketing.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing large teams and complex client portfolios.
  • Passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering business results.
  • Familiarity with emerging marketing technologies and data-driven approaches.
