ShopGifts is a leading corporate gifts company in Singapore, specialising in customised gifts, merchandise and promotional products for companies, government agencies and organisations. We work with a wide range of clients, from SMEs to well-known brands, helping them bring their ideas to life through customised products.

We are looking for a creative, proactive and hands-on Social Media & Marketing Intern to support our marketing and content creation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

• Create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
• Assist in planning and managing content calendars
• Film and edit short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
• Write captions, social media posts and marketing copy
• Research social media trends and propose content ideas
• Support the growth of ShopGifts' online presence and brand awareness

Marketing & Branding

• Assist with email marketing campaigns and EDMs
• Support website content updates and blog articles
• Help create marketing materials such as brochures, presentations and promotional materials
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Assist with SEO-related content initiatives

Product & Project Marketing

• Take product photos and videos for marketing purposes
• Create behind-the-scenes content featuring customised products and production processes
• Assist with product launches and promotional campaigns
• Help prepare client case studies and showcase completed projects

Administrative Support

• Organise and manage marketing assets and content libraries
• Coordinate with internal team members, suppliers and partners when required
• Support ad-hoc marketing, branding and business development projects

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Mass Communication, Design or a related field
• Familiar with social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Comfortable filming and appearing in videos when required
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Canva or similar tools
• Good written and spoken English
• Creative, organised and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience managing a personal or school social media account
• Photography or videography skills
• Experience with Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator
• Knowledge of SEO, Shopify or WordPress
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT

Location: Sembawang
Working Hours: Flexible (to be discussed)
Duration: Minimum 3 months preferred
Allowance: To be discussed based on experience
