Job Description - Social Media Content Manager Contract Bank - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and engaging content for social media, integrated marketing campaigns, thought leadership, employee engagement, internal communications, and client success stories.
  • Translate complex banking, financial, and business topics into compelling visual stories that are easy to understand and optimized for digital and social media audiences.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, creative concepts, editorial narratives, and campaign messaging across various content formats.
  • Lead the end-to-end production of video content, including concept development, scripting, filming, editing, post-production, and final delivery.
  • Produce high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, executive communications, events, internal communications, and corporate storytelling initiatives.
  • Create motion graphics, animated explainers, infographics, and other visual assets to enhance audience engagement and storytelling.
  • Design digital creative assets including social media graphics, campaign visuals, presentation materials, event collateral, and marketing content that align with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Optimize video and visual content for platform-specific requirements across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Spotify, and other digital channels to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Manage and maintain the social media content calendar, ensuring timely planning, scheduling, and publication of both organic and paid content.
  • Support the day-to-day management of corporate social media platforms by monitoring trends, identifying content opportunities, and recommending innovative content formats.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to translate business objectives into impactful creative campaigns.
  • Work with external agencies, photographers, videographers, designers, and content creators to deliver high-quality creative projects.
  • Monitor campaign and content performance using analytics and insights, continuously refining content strategies to improve engagement, reach, and audience experience.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Stay current with emerging social media trends, content formats, AI-powered creative tools, and digital marketing best practices to drive continuous innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in digital content creation, multimedia production, social media, or creative marketing.
  • Solid portfolio showcasing expertise in video production, visual storytelling, graphic design, and social media content creation.
  • Experience producing content for corporate, B2B, financial services, or professional services organizations is good to have.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, or Final Cut Pro for professional video editing and content creation.
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software is good to have.
  • Excellent understanding of storytelling principles, visual communication, editorial writing, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Experience managing social media content calendars and optimizing content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Spotify.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business, marketing, and creative teams.
