Social Media Intern - Part-Time

Position Summary

Gaonhae Taekwondo is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Intern to help grow our online presence and showcase the achievements of our students and community. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about social media, content creation, photography, and digital marketing.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner to create engaging content, promote classes and events, and strengthen the Gaonhae Taekwondo brand across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture photos and videos during classes, gradings, competitions and special events.

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.

• Design social media graphics using Canva or similar design software.

• Draft engaging captions and schedule posts across social media platforms.

• Promote student achievements, club events, competitions and community activities.

• Assist with content planning and maintain a monthly social media calendar.

• Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages when directed.

• Research social media trends and recommend new content ideas.

• Ensure all published content reflects the values and professionalism of Gaonhae Taekwondo.

• Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned by the Partner.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

• Interest in social media, digital marketing or content creation.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic photography and video editing skills.

• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

• Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar editing software.

• Knowledge of photography or videography.

• Interest in martial arts, sport or youth development.

Working Relationships
