6 Months Insurance Analyst, Group Claims ($3000-$4,000) #BYR - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and process Group Insurance claims accurately within policy terms, claims authority limits, and service turnaround times.
• Review and approve pre-authorisation and Letter of Guarantee (LOG) requests in accordance with policy guidelines and MOH benchmarks.
• Liaise with policyholders, healthcare providers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders to obtain information, resolve enquiries, and manage claim disputes.
• Handle claims administration, including payment processing, refunds, unsuccessful bank transfers, CPF-related cases, and updating claims records.
• Prepare claim settlement letters, maintain documentation, and generate reports on claims trends and performance.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with relevant parties on refunds and payment recovery.
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT testing, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify potential fraud or claim irregularities and escalate where appropriate.
• Support ad hoc projects and other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of Group Insurance Claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of Group Insurance products, including Group Term Life, Personal Accident, Disability Income, Critical Illness, Hospitalisation & Surgical, and Outpatient plans.
• Good understanding of claims assessment, policy interpretation, and claims administration processes.
• Health Insurance Certificate, M5 and M9 certifications are preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
