Associate (12 Months Contract), Sustainability (Sustainability Strategy) - Part-Time

Responsibilities

1) Content Development for Sustainability Engagement Platforms (support)

Support the development of content for Temasek’s sustainabilityengagement platforms, including internal and external forums, stakeholderengagements, thought leadership events and Ecosperity-related activities.Responsibilities may include:

• Developing briefing materials, talking points, presentation decks and background notes.
• Translating sustainability priorities into content for different audiences.
• Supporting agenda development and content flow for engagement platforms.
• Conducting research to inform themes, narratives and discussion topics.

2) Sustainability Strategy Support

Assist with strategy-related work across the sustainability agenda,including preparation of materials for internal discussions, senior managementupdates and stakeholder engagements. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting research and analysis on emerging sustainability trends.
• Helping connect engagement platform content with broader sustainability priorities.
• Supporting selected workstreams relating to climate, nature, social and Sustainable Living.

3) Sustainability Disclosures, Reporting and Ratings (support; lead for ratings)

Support ongoing sustainability disclosures and external reporting work,including ratings-related analysis and coordination. Responsibilities mayinclude:

• Supporting annual sustainability reporting processes.
• Assisting with data gathering, fact-checking and content drafting.
• Tracking sustainability ratings, benchmarks and disclosure expectations.
• Preparing analysis on rating outcomes and areas for improvement.

4) Project GO! — Staff Awareness Programme (lead)

Lead Project GO!, Temasek’s internal sustainability awareness andengagement programme. Responsibilities may include:

• Developing staff engagement content and communications materials.
• Supporting planning and execution of awareness campaigns, sessions and activities.
• Tracking participation, feedback and engagement outcomes.

5) Sustainable Living Trend Analysis (support)

Where relevant, support analysis of Sustainable Living trends andinvestment themes. Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting desktop research on Sustainable Living sectors, technologies and market developments.
• Tracking trends across climate solutions, resource efficiency, energy transition, food, water, circularity, inclusive growth and other relevant themes.
• Preparing short analyses, briefing notes and presentation materials.

6) Others: Social Roadmap Support

Assist with selected aspects of the social sustainability roadmap.Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting research on social sustainability themes such as inclusive growth, workforce resilience, responsible AI, human capital, just transition and community impact (including CSDDD).

Requirements

• Degree in Sustainability, Business, Public Policy, Communications or related field, with relevant experience
• Strong writing and communication skills, able to simplify complex sustainability topics for different audiences
• Experience in research and synthesis to support strategy discussions and stakeholder engagement
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting or disclosures is an advantage
• Able to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver well-structured outputs
• Interest in sustainability trends across climate, nature and social themes
