Associate Lecturer(S) For MDIS Business School (Doctorate Prorgamme) - Part-Time

We are currently recruiting Associate Lecturer(s) on a part-time basis to cater to short-term teaching requirements for the post graduate programme. Once the recruitment process has concluded, the official appointment will take place three (3) to six (6) months prior to the commencement of supervision, or subject to the availability of supervision opportunities.

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as Doctorate Thesis Supervisors for the following areas:

Subject Areas required:

• General Management
• Leadership & HRM
• Finance & Accounting
• Marketing
• Operations Management
• Technology Management

The successful candidates will play a crucial role in guiding PhD students through their research journey, ensuring the highest standards of academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and support to DBA students throughout their research projects.
• Assist in the development of research proposals and methodologies.
• Ensure students adhere to ethical research practices and institutional guidelines.
• Facilitate regular meetings with students to review progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to foster a vibrant research community.
• Contribute to the academic and professional development of students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and activities.

Job Requirements

• A Doctorate (PhD or DBA) in a relevant discipline from a recognised educational institution with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience and 2 years of post-doctorate experience in supervision of doctoral/Master thesis.
• Proven track record of research excellence and publications.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and academic standards.
• Excellent communication, mentoring and organisational skills.
• Team player who is able to work with faculty members and administrative staff.
• Keen interest in nurturing students in their learning journey.
