Contract Drafter - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or other drafting software.

* Produce 2D drawings, layout plans, general arrangement drawings, detailed drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings.

* Support railway-related projects involving mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, or building services drawings, depending on project scope.

* Prepare drawings for equipment layout, trackside installation, cable routing, support structures, panels, brackets, enclosures, and other railway system components.

* Assist engineers in converting design sketches, mark-ups, specifications, and site information into proper technical drawings.

* Update drawings based on comments from engineers, consultants, contractors, clients, or site teams.

* Ensure all drawings are accurate, properly labelled, numbered, revised, and maintained in accordance with project document control procedures.

* Coordinate with project, production, site, and quality teams to clarify drawing details and technical requirements.

* Support preparation of material take-off, drawing registers, submission documents, and technical documentation where required.

* Assist in checking drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

* Maintain proper softcopy and hardcopy filing of drawings and related documents.

* Support project handover documentation, including compilation of as-built drawings and final drawing records.

* Perform other drafting or project support duties as assigned.
